Happy Thursday, Καλημέρα!
If you type the word “Greek distraction” in Google, you will get the translated Greek word απόσπαση, meaning to take away something from something else.
Today, with so much of our time spent on technology and social media, focus and attention spans have become limited, often pulling us away from what is truly important in our lives.
Focusing on What Matters
Everyone pretty much wants the same things.
We want to be happy, healthy, have more money, and less stress.
However, in pursuing these, we can quickly lose focus, ignoring areas of our lives that may play a more significant role in our overall well-being.
Good Distraction
We believe staying connected to our Greek culture and community belongs in the “Good Distraction” category.
Whether spiritually by attending church, culturally by cooking a nice Greek meal, or attending a Greek event, these connections to Greek culture will pay significant dividends to you and your family’s overall well-being in the long run!
Words of Wisdom
“I would say that people in the past had simplicity and good thoughts. These days people see everything with guile because they judge things based on the mind, on logic.” Saint Paisios
